After Werbrich Custom Outdoor Living completed this backyard with a custom bar, plunge hot tub, pergola, and fire pit area, I helped the homeowners maximize every inch through professional outdoor furniture space planning and full-service furniture selection. With a smaller footprint, thoughtful furniture scale and traffic flow were essential. As part of the complimentary furniture space planning offered to Werbrich clients, I developed a layout around the homeowners’ existing hammock chairs and established a furniture budget before selections began. Under the pergola, appropriately scaled Summer Classics outdoor furniture created a comfortable conversation area without interfering with access to the bar or circulation through the backyard. High-quality performance cushions and outdoor fabrics were selected for durability, comfort, and easy maintenance—especially important for a busy household with children and dogs.

The fire pit called for a less traditional solution. Rather than standard outdoor chairs, the homeowners wanted seating that complemented the natural stone and boulders incorporated into the landscape. Versatile Summer Classics accent pieces were selected to function as ottomans, side tables, or additional seating and can easily be moved wherever they’re needed.
