First-Floor Remodel & Furnishing
What began as an outdoor furniture project with Werbrich Custom Outdoor Living evolved into a full-service first-floor interior design and remodeling project tailored to a client who wasn’t afraid of personality. Their request was clear: glamour, sparkle, drama, and purple. Working around recently purchased sofas and dining furniture, I began with detailed space planning and 3D renderings to create a cohesive design for the living room, dining room, and kitchen. The renovation included correcting improperly installed cabinetry and countertops, installing new countertops and a dramatic tile backsplash, and layering in custom lighting, wallpaper, window treatments, artwork, and high-end furnishings and accessories.
An unused niche presented another opportunity for custom design. Because these homeowners love to entertain, we transformed it into a statement bar featuring a custom ceiling-mounted wine and glass display. From furniture planning and material selections to custom artwork, lighting, accessories, procurement, and final styling, every element was curated around the homeowners’ distinctive aesthetic while incorporating pieces they already owned. This Cincinnati project demonstrates how full-service interior design, furniture procurement, space planning, 3D renderings, and strategic remodeling can transform an existing home into a highly personalized, sophisticated space that feels completely finished—and completely reflective of the people who live there.
